Artificial Grass Rebate - Glendora California
GLENDORA CALIFORNIA ANNOUNCES ARTIFCIAL GRASS REBATE
Like many municipalities throughout California, the city of Glendora (located where the 210 and 57 freeways intersect) announced a $.30 per sq ft rebate for homeowners that install artificial grass lawns. To recieve the credit consumers/homeowners must purchased their grass from a City of Glendora business. Purchase Green is pleased to announce it is the only dealer/distributor of wholesale artificial grass that also holds a City of Glendora busniess license - enabling their customers to qualify for the rebate. Purchase Green's corporate office is located in La Verne, California. The Home Depot is a retail location where Glendora residents can also buy artificial and synthetic grass at retail/special order pricing.

In conjunction with approving the rebate for artificial grass installations, the Glendora City Council approved new hours in which watering landscape is generally prohibited. Irrigation is PROHIBITED between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (this was a lessening of the restrictions - previously it had been prohibited to water between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.) This was partly driven by the challenges some senior citizens were facing with having to water in the late evening.
The City of Glendora, like every other community in the state of California, is still required to reduce consumption by 10% from the previous year. Buying artificial grass, and encouraging homeowners to buy artificial grass is a great environmentally friendly and conservationist approach to achieving that goal.
In addition to the rebate for artificial grass rebates are still available from the City for upgrades of sprinklers, washing machines, and certain plumbing fixtures. For more information call the City of Glendora at (626) 852-4838. You can download the artificial grass rebate form at the City's website at www.ci.glendora.ca.us. To receive the artificial grass rebate you need to submit the rebate application with a copy of your artificial grass receipt and a copy of your water bill.
The City of Glendora is also publishing the following as ways to help achieve the required 10% reduction in water usage:
