A synthetic turf or artificial grass tennis court offers many advantages over the other types of tennis courts. Unlike clay or natural grass tennis courts, a synthetic tennis court can be used all year round. For professional use, the pile height can range from 9mm to 16mm. The synthetic grass fiber, in this case, is a monofilament, with the turf filled with sand, sand plus crumb-rubber, or rubber coated sand. You have the option of choosing either a dense grass structure or a light, open grass structure. For recreational purposes, the synthetic grass tennis court would have a relatively slower surface. In this case, the pile height can vary from 18mm to 20mm. 
   
Tennis clubs are increasingly opting for synthetic grass tennis courts. The benefits are clear: in comparison with gravel or natural grass, artificial grass tennis courts require little maintenance.  You no longer have to use a drag brush on your court after every match and artificial grass for tennis is wear-resistant, extremely user friendly and does not make your footwear dirty!
