Typar Weed Barriers are the strongest non-woven weed barriers on the market today. It is often used in one of two ways - either as a soil separator between your native soil & your subbase material or as a weedbarrier placed immediately beneath your artificial grass. Using it as a soil separator is more common if you have a very "clay-like" soil - where you want to avoid "subbase contamination". Subbase contaimination occurs when your clay native soil migrates into your subbase - making the subbase more expansive.
